Supporting Organizations and Partners
Normandale Evangelical Lutheran Church
Normandale Evangelical Lutheran Church (NELC) founded the Center in 1998 with three key partners as an outreach mission focused on supporting healthy aging in body, mind and spirit. NELC provides the Center with annual financial support and office space.
Senior Care Communities (SCC) support both the Center's general operations as well as special project and organizational development work. SCC facilitated The Center’s role in recruiting and managing a volunteer workforce at the Colony (now, the Waters) senior living residence located in Eden Prairie (2003 to 2020). The Center recruited, trained, organized and provided direction to volunteers on-site to support efforts of activity staff, and to enhance community and overall quality of life for residents.
Trellis
Provides services, connections and innovations to help communities support older adults and their care partners through partnerships with community-based organizations, healthcare organizations and governmental units. Trellis is committed to reducing disparities in access and ensuring equity and inclusivity in older adult services. Trellis supports the Center’s caregiver services as part of the Older Americans Act.
